WhatsApp Business API pricing, country by country

The official Cloud API charges per delivered message, at a rate set by the message category and the recipient's country. A marketing message costs $0.0625 in Brazil, $0.1365 in Germany and $0.0118 in India. Utility messages and replies cost less. Your provider may add its own fee on top.

No. A free-form reply is a service message, charged at the country's service rate, which is the same as its utility rate ($0.0200 in Spain). Each business number gets 1,000 free a month, and there are no volume tiers. Utility templates sent inside the window are charged too.

Replies inside a free entry point window: when someone messages you from a click-to-WhatsApp ad or a page's call-to-action button and you answer within 24 hours, everything you send them for 72 hours is free. The calculator leaves this out.

Utility and authentication messages get cheaper per message as your monthly volume grows, per country and per category, and each tier's rate applies only to the messages inside that tier. Tiers reset every month. Marketing and service messages have no tiers.

Per connected number, monthly, with no per-message fee: $6 for your first number, $4.50 for every one after, and $3.50 from the 51st. Each number includes 0.5 GB of residential proxy traffic a month, then $0.99/GB. The Free plan covers 1 number, 2,000 messages and 0.5 GB of proxy traffic a month.

Marketing is 5% of messages unless you change it. On wuapi, one number per 100,000 messages a month, since sending pace is opt-in and off by default, and 1 GB of proxy per number a month against 0.5 GB included. At the defaults, the first preset (online store, 50k a month in brazil) costs $6.50 a month on wuapi against $472 on the official API, 73×.

When you need a verified business badge, template approval and a contract with the platform, when you send at very large scale in a regulated industry, or when your traffic is inbound support that fits the monthly free service messages or free entry point windows. Then the per-message bill is small or the paperwork is the point.

No, and we don't want that traffic. wuapi links your number as a device, like WhatsApp Web. A residential proxy removes a network signal; it does not make unsolicited bulk messaging safe. Send to people who expect you, and turn on the recommended pacing before campaigns.
